Thermal formability. The PETG plate is easy to produce the product with complex shape and large stretching ratio. Moreover, unlike PC boards and anti-impact modified acrylic, this sheet is not pre-dried before thermoforming.
Compared with PC board or acrylic, the molding cycle is short, the temperature is low and the yield is higher.
Tenacity. Extruded sheets of PETG sheets are usually 15 to 20 times times tougher than general-purpose acrylic, and are 5 to 10 times times tougher than anti-impact modified acrylic.
PETG sheets are capable of withstanding the process, transportation and use of the sheet, helping to prevent breakage.
Weather resistance. PETG sheet provides excellent weather resistance. It can maintain the tenacity of the product and prevent yellowing.
It contains ultraviolet absorbent, can be co-extruded into a protective layer, protecting the plate from the harmful effects of ultraviolet light.
Easy to process. PETG plate can be sawing, die-cutting, drilling, punching, shearing, riveting, milling and cold bending, not broken. Slight scratches on the surface can be removed by a hot air gun. Solvent bonding is also a normal operation.
It is more easy to process than general-purpose acrylic, anti-impact modified acrylic or PC board, and can be flocking, electroplating, electrostatic and other processing processing.
PETG plates are resistant to a wide range of chemicals and commonly used cleaners.
PETG sheet substrates are environmentally friendly materials and meet the requirements of food contact management.
It is cheaper than PC board and is more durable than acrylic.
